The Scholarship Benefits
The Irish Government Scholarship scheme is a partially funded scholarship program. It pays a specific amount of money annually to the student/ researcher and the applicants will be responsible to pay his admission and tuition fee. The scholarship amount paid for the applicants under this scheme covers the following eras;
- A stipend of 16,000 Euros each year
- A contribution to fees, including non-EU fees, up to a maximum of 5,750 Euros each year
- Eligible direct research expenses of 2,250 Euros each year
The scheme also offers individual and valuable awards for excellent research under the name of the applicant himself. The selection process for the grants is carried out by independent international expert peers. Almost all the disciplines are supported under this program and the program provides an excellent opportunity for outstanding students and researchers to work with a supervisor in their chosen area of interest.
