About Monbukagakusho Honors Funding at University of Aizu, Japan:
The University of Aizu is pleased to announce international awards in undergraduate and postgraduate programs for international students. The scholarship is available for outstanding and bright students who intend to pursue their academic studies in high ranked university in Japan.
The primary purpose of these program is to recognize the academic achievement of international students and enhance their learning experience by fund their study.

Eligibility and Criteria:
Applicants who wish to apply for Monbukagakusho Honors Funding at University of Aizu must meet the following requirements.
- Applicants must be privately financed international students
- Candidates must have been enrolled in an undergraduate and graduate degree program at the university.
- Applicant are to be able to demonstrate English Language Proficiency
- From all non-native English speakers, the university can be asked to provide one of the following certificates of their English proficiency: TOEFL iBT, IELTS, TOEIC, Eiken or others.
