The global network of United World Colleges is offering a number of full and partial UWC scholarships for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. Students from around the world and Afghanistan can apply for this opportunity. However; the students from Afghanistan must choose the option, “UWC National Committee”, in their online application. Otherwise; their application will be evaluated with other international applications. Afghan students who are living in the neighboring countries like Pakistan, Iran, Tajikistan, and etc. as refugees can also apply for this opportunity, considering that they must be able to appear for the in-person examination in Afghanistan.
The UWC scholarships opportunity offers a 2-year scholarship in International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in several study fields. Application Procedure
The application procedure is conducted online. Eligible students have to go to the online system of UWC and register themselves for the opportunity. Before you apply for the scholarship, you need to make sure that you have read all the eligibility and requirements of the opportunity.

Some important points before you apply;
- The candidate should be between 16 to 19 years of age.
- Afghan candidates living in neighboring countries as refugees who are applying for the grant must be able to attend the in-person examination in Afghanistan. Otherwise; they must contact the UWC National Committee beforehand.
- The scholarships (full and partial) are granted to almost 70% if the candidates based upon their financial needs.
- The students must complete their online form and answer the sections on their own. Any identification of plagiarism and help from others at any stage of the selection process will automatically result in your disqualification.
